GLOBAL IMAGING NAMES CECIL McCLARY VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES
TAMPA, Fla., Mar. 28--Global Imaging Systems, Inc., a leading provider of office technology solutions to the middle market, announced today that Cecil McClary, 59, has been named Vice President of Human Resources.
Tom Johnson, president and CEO, said, "Cecil's appointment is part of our strategy to position the company for more aggressive growth. He is assuming responsibility for all human resource issues as well as for Global's insurance and risk management."
"With more than 30 years of experience, Cecil is well qualified to lead our efforts to provide career and benefits opportunities for our 2,800 employees nationwide," Mr. Johnson commented. "His human resources expertise includes the development and implementation of programs to facilitate healthy employee relations, and he is also experienced at evaluating management strengths and company cultures at acquisition candidates."
Mr. McClary served for 23 years in increasingly responsible human resource positions at Georgia Pacific's Unisource Division. Before retiring as vice president, he was responsible for the design, development and implementation of management incentive plans, compensation programs for 3,000 sales professionals, and other complete cash compensation plans. Previously, Mr. McClary served for 10 years as compensation manager for the Walt Disney organization.
